ROSA PONSELLE CENTENARY INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION FOR THE VOCAL ARTS ACCEPTING CANDIDATES

The Centenary year Competition will be offered to young ladies between ages l7 to 2l and young gentlemen between l8 to 24 years as of November 2, l997.

The Competition will hold its Preliminary, Quarter-Final, Semi- Final and Final rounds at Lincoln Center Plaza's Alice Tully Hall in New York City between November 3 to l0, l997.

Cash prize awards to Laureates include $20,000 to the Rosa Ponselle Gold Medalist; $l5,000 to the Carmela Ponselle Silver Medalist and $l0,000 to the Hazel Ann Fox Bronze Medalist. Each of three Finalists will receive $3,000; $2,000 will be awarded to each of six Semi-Finalists and $l,000 will be allocated to each of l2 Quarter-Finalists.

Application submission deadline date is June 30, l997.
